Clann House of the Tlingit (pronounced clincket)

At the Potlach Park there were "clan houses" where the different families of the same clan would live together in the winter.  They would have 4 post totems that held up the house, with ornate carvings/paintings on the front and back walls.  This was the three dimensional eagle on one wall.

The other side of the wall tells the story of the mother and child and the large hands on either side of the painting/carving symbolizes that the woman hands on Wisdom to her child.
